Conference dates
The next Tilos conference will take place on Saturday 6th – Tuesday 9th July 2019. The programme will be confirmed in due course once speakers have been confirmed. The conference usually begins on Saturday afternoon with coffee, after this we have the first paper session followed by wine and mezze at Aghios Antonios. The conference will finish on Tuesday lunchtime, and we ask that you plan your travel to and from Tilos carefully around these dates as the ferry schedule can change at the last minute.
| Registration Fee
The registration fee we charge is purely to cover the costs of travel around the island to different conference locations and the conference dinner. The fees for the 2019 conference are: €100 for staff working in Higher Education, and €75 for students. |
We ask that all participants pay this fee in cash to the Treasurer, Richard Smith, at the conference registration.
How to get there and where to stay
Access to Tilos is easy from Rhodes or Kos. You can take a ferry from Rhodes to Tilos that takes about 3 hours, or you may take the Catamaran, which takes 2 hours. Here is a link to the ferry timetable. Please, note that these schedules change frequently, so make sure to check the timetable a day or two before you plan to go to Tilos.
